The Women in Hydro Luncheon is open to all attendees, but complimentary registration is required for planning purposes. Attendees can register for this luncheon when registering to attend or by emailing Chivan@nwhydro.org if you have already registered and would like to attend.  

Keynote Speaker: Jillian Caires, Avista

Hydro has played a large role in much of Jillian’s life; from growing up at Avista’s Cabinet Gorge Dam where her dad was an operator to pursuing her own career with Avista. Jillian is a graduate of Washington State University and Gonzaga University School of Law. Jillian first joined Avista in 2007, working in Customer Service, Construction and Operations. Jillian left Avista in 2010 to attend law school, after which she spent time as a law clerk and in private practice. In 2020, Jillian returned to Avista, joining the in-house legal team. Since 2020, Jillian has worked with a variety of departments throughout the Company, including Environmental Affairs, Real Estate, Engineering, GPSS, Operations, Native American Relations, and Wildfire.
