The Northwest Hydroelectric Association invited its members and attendees to join us on February 24-26, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Seattle for our 44th Annual Conference.
NWHA was excited to host the 2025 Annual Conference, which continued to be the leading event in the industry for fostering connections, engaging with colleagues, and exploring the state of the hydropower industry in the Northwest. The theme of 2025 was We Are Hydro, bringing vintage into the new era! Each session and discussion was tailored to the Northwest to advance hydropower, share knowledge, and create connections to strengthen the region. With 80% of U.S. hydropower coming from the Northwest, this event served as a premier forum for gaining insights from top utilities and providers keeping the lights on. The event featured content for owners, operators, suppliers, new entrants, and experienced professionals, offering opportunities to connect, learn, and engage.
New in 2025 was double the educational content! Concurrent sessions ran throughout the event, allowing NWHA to provide more technical content, natural resource discussions, and legislative/regulatory updates across the 2.5-day conference. Additionally, the event included 10 formal networking opportunities, a small hydro workshop preceding the conference, two evening receptions, committee meetings for industry niches, a Women in Hydro luncheon, a special event for new hydropower entrants, a career fair in partnership with the Hydropower Foundation, and career development opportunities. Content was curated into four focus areas, ensuring relevance for new professionals, seasoned experts, and regional stakeholders.
Attendees joined NWHA from Monday, February 24, to Wednesday, February 26, for the premier hydropower industry event focused on issues critical to the Northwest.
