Kelly Derr

Kelly Derr is a Senior Archaeologist with Historical Research Associates, Inc. Portland, Oregon. She also serves as the Spokane Regional Manager for HRA's CRM Division. She joined HRA in 2014 and has 25 years of professional experience conducting federal and state environmental and cultural resource compliance across the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West. She holds a B.A. in History from Southern Oregon University, M.A. in Anthropology from Colorado State University, and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Washington State University. Her work emphasizes collaborative Tribal and First Nations consultation and engagement and developing creative solutions for managing the protection of cultural and natural resource for complex hydro and other large infrastructure projects
